On Thursday, August 13, 1998, the acting officers of the Wimberley Computer Club met in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM. The business followed a demonstration by Allan Eastwood of the club's new projection equipment . Individuals present were Acting Vice President of Operations, Don Coleman; Acting Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Acting Secretary, Susan Springer and Acting Treasurer, Ariana Vincent; and Alma Springer.
The minutes and the Treasurer's report were emailed to the other members of the board.
Don Coleman distributed to each board member flyers advertising David Harrison as the guest speaker.
Programs were again discussed with a tenative schedule of:
Don Coleman will check to see if the library has a screen available for us to use. He will also look into a program called SeniorNet, which helps supply computers for senior citizen activity centers nationwide.
Susan Springer announced that an email would go to all Wimberley Time Line
users announcing our first meeting, and we now have a website and the address is:
