The first meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on September 3, 1998 in the Wimberley Village Library. Fifty-three people signed in.
Charles Coe welcomed the group. He explained the purpose and announced the future plans for the club.
Don Coleman introduced David Harrison , the speaker for the evening. His topic was "What Computers Can Do For You".
Following the presentation announcements were made by Charles Coe and the drawing for the door prize took place. The winners were: Jeanne Connor, Mary Rodemyer, and Pat Aaron.
By the end of the evening dues had been paid for twenty-five families.
The next meeting will be October 1, 1998, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 8:35 PM.
