Minutes of the Wimberley Computer Club

September 29, 1998

The second meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on September 29, 1998 in the Wimberley Village Library. Forty-four people signed in. Charles Coe called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

The minutes were read and approved.

The Treasurer's report was given and approved.

Charles Coe announced that the Bylaws would be voted on at the next meeting and that they could be found on the website and that copies were available after the meeting. He then ask for 3 volunteers for the nominating committee. Sally England, Pat Aaron and Vi Eastwood volunteered. Sally England was appointed as the chairperson.

Allan Eastwood introduced Jerry McGhee, the speaker for the evening with the topic, "From Wimberley to the World Wide Web".

Following the presentation, Curt Busk was asked to chair the Special Interest Group (SIG) Committee. There was an interest shown in forming a SIG on the Internet.

Katherine Moriniere's name was drawn as the door prize winner.

The next meeting will be October 27, 1998, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.

The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM.
