The third meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on October 27, 1998 in the Wimberley Village Library. Thirty-eight people signed in. Charles Coe called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The minutes were read and approved.
Dues cards were passed out.
The Treasurer's report was given by Curt Busk.
Balance on September 17, 1998: $400.05 Dues paid by new members: $180.00 Repayment of loan from Ariana Vincent: $ 60.00 Current Balance: $520.05
The bylaws were voted on and they passed unanimously.
Curt Busk announced that the Internet SIG would meet on November 12, 1998 and December 10, 1998 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM in the Wimberley Village Library. He will be the group leader.
Group leaders are still needed for the Beginner SIGs. The Beginner SIG will be divided into three groups. One group will be Windows '98, one will be Advanced Windows '95 and the third will be Beginning Windows '95.
Allan Eastwood introduced Barry Voss. He is employed by Ma & Pa's General Store. The topic for the evening is "Microsoft Offic Suite".
The drawing for the door prize took place following the presentation. Albert Rouse's name was drawn as the winner.
The next meeting will be November 24, 1998, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM.
