The fourth meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on November 24, 1998 in the Wimberley Village Library. Thirty-three people signed in.
Charles Coe called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.
The minutes were read and approved.
The Treasurer's report was given by Curt Busk and approved.
Charles Coe announced that we still need a publicist. He also announced that the board voted to combine the offices of Secretary and Treasurer into one office. The nomination committee made their report with the following suggestions: President, Charles Coe; Vice President of Operations, Don Coleman; Vice President of Programs; Allan Eastwood; and Secretary/Treasurer, Susan Springer. A motion to except this slate of officers was made by Jackie Duffie and seconded by John Ross. A vote was taken and passed unanimously.
Allan Eastwood introduced Dr. Marcus Gitterle, the speaker for the evening with the topic, "How the Internet Works and What that Means to Me".
Following the presentation, Allan Eastwood announced that there would be no meeting in the month of December; therefore, the next meeting will be January 26, 1999.
The meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM.
