Minutes of the Wimberley Computer Club

February 23, 1999

The sixth meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on February 23, 1999, in the Wimberley Junior High School. Thirty people signed in.

Charles Coe called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM.

The minutes were read and approved.

The Treasurer's report was given and approved. The balance is $891.19.

Susan Springer asked that anyone that had not received their dues card please pick it up following the meeting.

Charlie Coe announced that Don Coleman has resigned his position as Vice President of Operations. He will still remain active in the club.

The Internet SIG on March 4, 1999, will be touring the Time Line facilities. Refreshments will be served to all attendees.

Allan Eastwood announced that Al Leikis of Ma and Pa's Computer Store will be the speaker for our meeting on March 30, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library. The topic will be "Everything You Want to Know about Hardware".

Allan Eastwood introduced Suzy Citek, the speaker for the evening. The topic is "A Showcase of Computing Talents".

Following the presentation, Charlie Coe drew five names before coming up with two door prize winners. The names drawn were: Susan Welch, Calvin Neill, Charles Rainer, Nelma Cowser, and Janice Jackson. The winners were: Calvin Neill and Janice Jackson.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
