On Wednesday, April 21, 1999, the officers of the Wimberley Computer Club met in the Wimberley Village Library at 3:00 PM. Individuals present were President, Charles Coe; Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Secretary/Treasurer, Susan Springer; SIG Coordinator, Curt Busk; and Publicist, Sylvia Banks.
The minutes were approved as found on the internet.
The Treasurer's report was read and approved. Current balance is $804.64.
There are new beginner SIGs starting up. Group leaders are needed for these groups.
The Internet SIG will meet for another 4 or 5 weeks before a new group will start.
The Wimberley View was very late getting the announcement of the Microsoft Word Class in the newspaper.
Allan Eastwood will talk to Ken Roberts about another Microsoft Word Class for club members who appear on the overflow list. The class may be at club expense.
Allan suggested that we have a Word SIG that will start when the class on Microsoft Word finishes.
Roy Hughes will be our speaker for May. His topic is "Y2K".
The next meeting of the board will be May 19, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library at 3:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 4:55 PM.
