· Allan Eastwood reported on the success of the Microsoft Word Class. He received quite a few positive emails from the membership. However, on his suggestion for a Microsoft Word SIG he received only 6 positive responses. Allan will post a sign up sheet for a MW SIG at the next meeting and will limit it only to those who took the class.
· *Deferred till next board meeting* - the idea of opening up our web site for commercial use of other web site links.
· Allan Eastwood confirmed that Roy Hughes will be our guest speaker at the May 25 meeting.
· Allan Eastwood said Marc Gitterley may be our June 29 guest speaker but this is not yet confirmed. Backup topics he will check on are "electronic imaging and desk top publishing".
· Monthly board and membership meeting will continue through the summer.
· *Deferred till next board meeting* - topic on High School Computer Club
· *Deferred till next board meeting* - topic on forming a Wimberley Valley Computer Association.
· *Deferred till next board meeting* - Meeting prize drawing with lap top and projector, announcing prizes at start of meeting, improving door prizes. Richard Biggs suggested having a big prize at our yearly meeting as well as continuing with the monthly prizes to attract attendance.
· Curt Busk reported he may put off a new Windows Class for lack of a leader. He will also target to start the next Internet SIG in September. He will post a sign up sheet.
· Sylvia Banks presented the new registration form and after reviewing it was approved.
