The eleventh meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on July 27, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library. Thirty-eight people signed in.
Allen Eastwood called the meeting to order at 7:07 PM.
The minutes were approved as found on the internet.
The Treasurer's report was given and approved. The balance is $817.77. Dues for the 1999 - 2000 year is due.
Curt Busk gave a report on the Special Interest Groups (SIG). New beginner Windows groups are running. There are sign-up sheets available for several different SIGs that will start soon.
Allan Eastwood announced that the Membership meeting on August 31, 1999 will be moderated by Curt Busk. It will be a discussion of "Favorite Websites". Allen also announced that the board is planning a very special anniversary meeting for September.
Allan Eastwood introduced our speaker for the evening, Rod Hardy. His presentation is "Keeping Your Computer Healthy".
Following the presentation the door prize was awarded. The winners were Dawn and Doran Teague.
The meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM.
