On Wednesday, August 25, 1999, the officers of the Wimberley Computer Club met in the Wimberley Village Library at 3:15 PM. Individuals present were Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Secretary/Treasurer, Susan Springer; and SIG Coordinator, Curt Busk.
The minutes were read and approved.
The Treasurer's report was read and approved. Current balance is $1142.79. Dues for the year 1999 through 2000 is due.
The Internet SIG will start meeting on September 2, 1999. The sign-up sheet contains 20 - 25 names. This SIG will meet the first and third Thursdays of the month from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
The Genealogy SIG will start in September. It will most likely be taught on a one-on-one basis.
There are 5 or 6 names on the list for the Beginners SIG.
The Microsoft Word Class is tenatively set for the 4 Mondays in October. Ken Roberts will teaching again.

Door prizes for the Anniversary meeting were discussed.
The bulletin board for the website was discussed and several categories were decided on. They are: a) Internet, b) windows 95/98, c) word processing, d) hardware, e) graphics/imaging, f) genealogy, g) swap/sell, and h) misscellaneous. We would like to have at least one monitor per category. Volunteers will be solicited at the meeting on Tuesday.
Sponsor listings on our website will remain for 12 months and then be removed.
Surveys similar to the ones used last year will be distributed at the October meeting to help direct us in our future plans.
The next meeting of the board will be September 22, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library at 3:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 4:50 PM.
