The meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on September 28, 1999 in the Wimberley Village Library. Seventy-one people signed in.
Charles Coe welcomed the group to the club's anniversary meeting.
The minutes were approved as they appear on the website.
The treasurer's report was given and approved. The balance is $1224.15. Dues for the 1999 - 2000 year is due.
The SIG report was given. There are sign-up sheets on the table in the back of the room.
Allan Eastwood announced that Madonna Kimball will be the speaker in October with a presentation on Desktop Publishing.
Allan then introduced the panel for the evening. Ken Roberts, Jerry McGhee, Roy Hughes and David Harrison were asked questions about computing techniques.
Door prize winners were selected throughout the evening. The winners were: Nelma Cowser, Cheri Chapman, Norman & Seba Parish, Jo Scudder, Richard Biggs, Dorothy Martin, Susan Springer, Jim Reece, Sue Koniakowsky, Maxine Stevens, Marion & Will Douglas, Rob & JoAnn Ross and Jack Anderson.
Following the presentation announcements were made by Charles Coe. An invitation to stay for refreshments was extended.
The next meeting will be October 26, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 8:35 PM.
