The meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on October 26, 1999 in the Wimberley Village Library. Fifty-five people signed in.
At 7:06 PM, Charles Coe welcomed the group to the club's meeting.
The minutes were approved as they appear on the website.
The treasurer's report was given and approved. The balance is $1481.81.
Sandy Gaskin, the Workforce Training and Continuing Education Director at Austin Community College, gave a presentation on the courses available through the Austin Community College.
Linda Bingham and Moselle Walker volunteered to be on the nominating committee. They will find one other person to be on the committee and Moselle Walker will chair the committee.
Allan then introduced Madonna Kimball the speaker for the evening. Her topic is "Desktop Publishing". Bryce Engelhart also helped Madonna with the presentation. Bryce has a printing business.
Following the presentation the door prize was selected. Charlie and Sharon Coe were the winners.
The next meeting will be November 30, 1999, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 8:32 PM.
Following the meeting a presentation of how to use the bulletin board was given by Curt Busk.
