On Wednesday, February 16, 2000, the members of the Wimberley Computer Club board met in the Chamber of Commerce at 10:15 AM. Individuals present were President, Curt Busk; Vice President of Operations, Charlie Coe; Secretary, Susan Springer; Treasurer, Murphy Jordan; Director of Software, David Gensheimer; Director of Formal Education Programs, Mary Van Diggele; Director of Special Interest Groups, Rod Rose; Director of Facilities, Steve Birgel; and Director of Programs, Kathy Moriniere.
The Treasurer's Report was asked for and Murphy Jordan reported that we took in $75.00 in dues and had expenses of $67.31 leaving a balance of $1,699.58.
Speakers for the next few months have been set. For Tuesday, Rod Hardy on "Upgrading Your Hardware"; March, Hal Hodges from Canyon Lake on "Fun with the Video"; April, Ray Baldheim on "Digital Photography; and May, Allen Childress from Microsoft.
The SIGs are still going strong. Two SIGs for beginners with 4 in each group. Charlie Coe will be talking with Mary Anderson about starting a group for MAC users. A sign-up sheet will be at the meeting Tuesday for the Web Site SIG.
The "Contest" category will be present for the month of March for another contest drawing at the March meeting. Anyone posting to this category will be entered into the drawing.
