The meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on February 22, 2000 in the Wimberley Village Library. Sixty-four people signed in. President, Curt Busk, welcomed the group to the club's meeting at 7:00 PM.
Curt announced that the door prize for the evening would be Windows 98. Also the bulletin board contest would be held again during the month of March. There was a short presentation on using the bulletin board.
Alma Springer moved that the minutes be accepted as they appear on the Website. The motion was seconded and accepted.
The Treasurer, Murphy Jordan, gave a treasurer's report which showed instake from dues as $75.00 and expenses of $67.31 leaving a balance of $1,699.58.
The courses through Austin Community College that are being discussed are MS Money and/or Quicken. There are sign-in sheets to indicate your interest in these classes. There is also a sign-in sheet for the new SIG on Websites.
Allan Eastwood introduced Rod Hardy, our speaker for the evening. His topic is "Upgrading Your Hardware".
Following the presentation, the door prize was selected. Carl Scudder was the winner.
The bulletin board drawing was won by Alma and Susan Springer.
The next meeting will be March 28, 2000, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned about 8:35 PM.
