On Wednesday, March 15, 2000, the members of the Wimberley Computer Club board met in the Chamber of Commerce at 10:10 AM. Individuals present were President, Curt Busk; Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Vice President of Operations, Charlie Coe; Secretary, Susan Springer; Treasurer, Murphy Jordan; Director of Software, David Gensheimer; Director of Formal Education Programs, Mary Van Diggele; Director of Special Interest Groups, Rod Rose; and Director of Programs, Kathy Moriniere.
The minutes were read and approved.
The Treasurer's Report was asked for and Murphy Jordan reported that we took in $255.00 in dues and had expenses of $12.50 leaving a balance of $1,942.08.
We now have 120 families as members.
Speakers for the next few months have been set. For Tuesday, Hal Hodges from Canyon Lake on "Fun with the Video"; April, Ray Baldheim on "Digital Photography; and May, Allen Childress from Microsoft.
The SIGs are still going strong. Sign-up sheets will be at the meeting Tuesday for the Beginners SIG and the Internet at Night SIG.
Austin Community College is waiting for us. The class will be beginning computers. After club members have an opportunity to register we will open registration to the general public.
Mary Van Diggele will talk with Ken Roberts about classes in Excel and Word.
The meeting adjourned about 11:35 AM.
