On Friday, May 5, 2000, the officers of the Wimberley Computer Club met in the Wimberley Village Library at 10:25 AM. Individuals present were President, Curt Busk; Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Vice President of Operations, Charlie Coe; Secretary, Susan Springer; and Treasurer, Murphy Jordan.
The minutes were approved as they appear on the Internet.
A discussion of the Tip Sheet took place. Rod Hardy cannot write the sheets for us at this time. We will continue to search for someone that will write the Tip Sheets. When the Tip Sheets are developed we will purchase binders to keep the sheets in. Each family will receive one binder.
The plans for the ACC class were discussed. Charlie Coe made a motion that the club pay the full lab fee for club members. Allan Eastwood seconded the motion. It was defeated three to two. Murphy Jordan then made a motion that the club pay half of the member's lab fee. Susan Springer seconded the motion. It passed. The lab fee will be $20.
We then discussed the priority of the education programs.
It was decided that the SIGs needed to be announced more clearly. We need to limit the sign-in sheets as much as possible.
The meeting adjourned about 11:35 AM.
