On Wednesday, May 17, 2000, the members of the Wimberley Computer Club board met in the Chamber of Commerce at 10:05 AM. Individuals present were President, Curt Busk; Vice President of Operations, Charlie Coe; Secretary, Susan Springer; Director of the Bulletin Board, Judy Copeland; Director of Software, David Gensheimer; Director of Formal Education Programs, Mary Van Diggele; Director of Special Interest Groups, Rod Rose; and Director of Publicity, Sylvia Banks.
Treasurer's Report: $1952.53 dues of $30 and expenses of $21.73 leaving a balance of $1960.80.
Speakers for the next few months are: Tuesday's program, Allen Childress from Microsoft; June's program, Jerry McGhee on the Internet; July's program, David Harrison on a topic of general interest; August's program is Tom Mitchell of TD&G Computer Solutions; and September's program will be the same type as last year's; October will be Glenn Fryer and November will be Microsoft.
A tour of Time Line will be on June 24, 2000, from 10:00 AM - 12:00.
The SIGs are still going strong. The grab bag SIG will meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
Austin Community College classes will be on June 26, 28 and 29 and July 3, 5, 6, 19 and 12 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Danforth Middle School. Tuition is $162. Judy Copeland is the contact for this event.
