On Wednesday, August 16, 2000, the members of the Wimberley Computer Club board met in the Chamber of Commerce at 10:11 AM. Individuals present were President, Curt Busk; Vice President of Operations, Charlie Coe; Vice President of Programs, Allan Eastwood; Secretary, Susan Springer; Director of Hardware, Richard Biggs; Director of Software, David Gensheimer; Director of Special Interest Groups, Rod Rose; Director of Programs, Kathryn Moriniere and Director of Setup, Jack Anderson.
The Minutes were approved as they appear on the website.
Because the library is closed for renovations, we discussed alternate meeting locations for Tuesday's meeting.
Speakers for the next few months are: Tuesday's program, David Harrison on a topic of general interest; and September's program will be the same type as last year's; October will be Glenn Fryer and November will be Microsoft.
The refreshments for September's meeting will be resolved by the end of this month. Kathy Moriniere will take care of the arrangements.
The SIGs still seem to be going strong. The Grab Bag SIG will meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. The Internet SIG will be starting in September, on the 4th Thursdays of the month from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. The MAC SIG will not start until the fall.
Kathy Moriniere will deliver the pages and binders to Sylvia and they will complete the books.
The meeting adjourned about 11:10 AM.
Respectfully Submitted
Susan Springer
