The meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on August 22, 2000 in the Wimberley Junior High School. Forty people signed in. President, Curt Busk welcomed the group to the club's meeting at 7:10 PM.
The minutes were accepted as they appear on the Internet.
The Treasurer's report was given and accepted.
The grab bag SIG will meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM in the Wimberley Village Library. A beginning internet SIG will meet the 4th Thursdays of the month starting in September.
Allan Eastwood introduced David Harrison, our speaker for the evening. His topic is "What Will Happen to Microsoft".
The next meeting will be September 26, 2000, in the Wimberley Village Library at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be servec at 6:00 PM. The program will be questions to be answered by our panel. There will 18 various door prizes with the grand prize being a zip drive.
The meeting adjourned about 8:40 PM.
