Wednesday, January 17, 2001, the officers of the Wimberley Computer Club met at the Wimberley Chamber Commerce at 10am. Individuals present were President, Don Coleman: Coordinator Education Committee, Curt Busk: Coordinator Program Committee, Allan Eastwood: Treasurer, Joanne Ross: Charlie Coe and Rob rose.
Minutes and Treasure Report was not available from last meeting.
Allan gave report on next speaker, January 23, Ken Roberts. Also outlined the agenda for February, Jim Shelton; March, Rod Hardy: April, Open: May, Allen Childress, Microsoft.
Curt discussed the up coming SIGS, but had to be held off due conflict with Village Library. Discussion on Library followed.
Curt noted that an Intermediate course on computers was needed and requested by some. The Grab BAG was on hold. Photo SIG by Glyn Fyrer later on in the Spring
Discussion on informing members on the importance of BackUP. Possiblly demonstration on how to make an outside backup of data files
Discussion by Curt and Allan on buying external hard drives for use in a SIG class at the library.
Discussion for the need of a Computer Club Historian.
The next Staff meeting will be announced later.
The meeting adjourned about ll:30 AM.
