The Wimberley Computer Club was called to order at 7P.M. by Pres. Don Coleman in the Wimberley Village Library. Sixty people signed in.

Treasure's report: a copy of the Income & Expense Statement for the year ending December 31, 2000 with a balance of $2330.52 was available to the members at the meeting.

The Internet SIG class will be 1st and 3rd Tuesday @7p.m.to 9p.m.
Grab Bag SIG class will be the 1st Thursday of each month @ 1p.m. to 2:30p.m.
Allan Eastwood the Program Co-ordinator announced next month's meeting was Feb.27th with Jim Shelton "Getting the most out of your e-mail."
The presentation of this evening was Ken Roberts a faculty member of the Wimberley High School. His subject was "How come these students know so much". Some of the reasons were its not new to them, they aren't afraid to try, and they get lots of help. Mr.Roberts spoke of Internet economics and what was available to the students in the Career and Technology Dept. He brought along and introduced 8 students. He advised the audience that he waits a year to buy new software. Several of the students had computer business and you can reach 3 of them by e-mail. The door prize was Street and Map software won by Curt Busk
