The meeting of the operational board of the Wimberley Computer Club met at the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce at 1000 am. Present were Don Coleman, Curt Busk, Joanne Ross, Rob Rose, Jan Jackson, Susan Springer, Sylvia Banks, and Sally England.
Minutes of the WCC of Jan.23rd were read and accepted.
Treasurer's report was read and accepted.
Old Business-none
New Business We will be having this board meeting the Thursday before the general meeting monthly.
Discussion was heard on the following: Program For the Drawing. It was agreed that the membership will be those who are paid for the current year as of 1 day before this meeting, that is so the names can be on the disk and given to the President. The treasurer will send to Susan and Sylvia the members who have paid since the last meeting. Non current members will be sent a reminder. If a member does not renew within one year their name will be taken off the mailing list. Gift Certificate: $50 was given by Dawn and Doran Teagues, we will see if it can be extended to the September meeting. Thank you cards will be sent to the Teagues and Sally Lomax for the donations.
Speaker for the next meeting is Jim Shelton. Don received an email stating he will be providing refreshments before the meeting at 6:30 P.M. that inf. will be included in the notice to the members. For the door prize that night we will have a $28 shredder.
SIG reports. Curt stated that the Internet SIG would be moved to Wed. 7-9PM. Because of a personal conflict. He also brought us up to date on the external hard drives. Charlie Coe has the list for beginners. Grab Bag SIG on the 1st Thursday is a big success. There will be a digital camera Sig. Starting in mid summer. Rob discussed digital cameras. Glenn Flyer will be the leader of that Sig.
The next board meeting will be March 22nd.
