March 27th, 2001

The Wimberley Computer Cub was called to order by Allan Eastwood; the President was out of town due to personal reasons, at 7P.M. in the Wimberley Village Library 45 people had signed in.

Treasure's report was read and accepted.

Minutes of the Feb.27th meeting read and accepted.

Old Business: none

New Business: Rob Rose gave the report on the SIG's for Curt Busk. The Internet Group will has its last meeting on Apr.4th. A new series will start in May or June and will be during the day. The Introduction Grp. will be headed by Charlie Coe and will begin the week of April 2nd. The next Grab Bag will be Thursday April 5th at 1p.m. at the library. There will be a Digital Photography Group starting April 19th at 1p.m at the Library. All of this information will be posted on our web site www.ccwimberley.org

Allan announced to the membership that the Library has a new policy of limiting the number of people in a group that meets at the library and that is 30. Because that affects us negatively we are going to appeal to the library board in a low-key fashion. He did say that members have on their own written to the Wimberley View to express their personal views on the subject.

Allan then introduced our speaker for the evening, Rhondda Cotton. The presentation on Back Up, How and Why was given and very enthusiastically received. We were given hand outs to follow along.

Door Prize: Violet and Allan Eastwood won "Print Master" a software program.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:25 P.M.

Respectfully Submitted
