Executive Board Meeting was called to order by Pres. Don Coleman, present were JoAnne Ross, Curt Busk,Allan Eastwood, Rod Rose and Sally England.
Purpose of the meeting was to hear from Rose about the Task Force meeting with the library board. Rod gave the board his idea about placement of the new furnishings in such a maner that we would have room for the general meeting of the WCC. He informed the board that the future was in "CD's" for information and the internet, the library board sees only "books". He will go to the next Task Force meeting next week and present the grid along with our feelings about a long range plan for the Library.. Rod also has in his possession an article from the Washington Post he will share with the Lib. Board. It was pointed out that our board was going to wait before sending more letters to the paper but with an ok from the Pres, letters were encouraged to be sent. Don stated that we are meeting on Mon. with the Katherine A.Porter Adm. About the use of their school. Don also stated that it was the SIG'S that held the CC together.
