Minutes of June 21, 2001 of the Operational Board of the Wimberley Computer Club. Called to order at 1000 am by Pres.Coleman, present were JoAnne Ross, Allan Eastwood, Curt Busk, Susan Springer, Rod Rose, Charlie Coe and Sally England.

Treasures report read and approved.
Old Business: The Library Board approved at their June Board meeting unanimously approved the concept of placement of furnishings that would give an open space of 16-17 inches so that the meetings of the WCC can remain at the Library. There was a unanimously vote to send a letter to the Wimberley View expressing our thanks. Rod Rose was kind enough to write it.
New Business: We received a gift of $50 from Pat Williamson for help putting together her computer; the money will be split and given as 2 prizes at the September general meeting. We will need a minute's taker for July, Sylvia will be asked.
SIG Report Sign up for the Internet will again be available on next Tuesday. It will start on July12th from 10-1130 am on the 2nd and fourth Thursday at the Library. Curt will run the session. Curt has been in touch with KAP and will keep us abreast of the details about classes there.
In the future we hope, along with the Wimberley Community to be involved with participation in a TIF grant. A short discussion was held.
Program Report Allan states Chris Smith from the OZONA bank will present electronic banking. We will have handouts. The door prize is Quicken Software package. In July Ron Hardy will give Basic information on "Protection" in its many forms. Susan was give Kudos for her terrific work on the Web Page.
