Minutes of the Wimberley Computer Club

February 26, 2002

Meeting was called to order in the Library, at 7:02 p.m. by President Al Sternthal. There were 26 members present. Al reminded members to pay dues.

Minutes of the January meeting were approved.

Treasurer's report (given by Al in the absence of Mary Nall) = $2889.92 was accepted.

Old Business: Curt announces that the Windows Intermediate class has begun, and gave the schedule for SIG's: 1st Thursday = Grab Bag 1 - 2:20 p.m.; 2nd and 4th Thursdays = SIG (tentatively, Internet class); 3rd Thursday = Digital Photography; 4th Tuesdays = Regular meeting 7 p.m. at the Library. Sign-up sheets are available on the desk for the Internet SIG, and for the Beginner Windows class.

New Business: Gordon Dysart introduced the speaker Bill Whtten, owner of BC Sight and Sound, who gave an excellent program about "Should I UpGrade? If so, what should I UpGrade?"

Vivian Coleman won the Door Prize ("Stuff It" software).

The March meeting will be a speaker from Motorola company.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
