Minutes of the Wimberley Computer Club

August 27, 2002

Meeting was called to order in the Library, at 7 p.m. by Vice Pres. Gordon Dysart (in the absence of Pres. Al Sternthal). There were 34 members present.

Minutes of the last meeting were approved.

Treasurer's report of $3249.14 was accepted.

OLD BUSINESS:

Curt Busk announced that the September SIGs will be at the Library, with the same schedule as before (Grab Bag=1st Thurs.,1 p.m., Digital Photography= 3rd Thurs.,1 p.m.), with the addition of an Intermediate Digital Camera class to be held at K.A.Porter school, days and time to be announced. Sign-up sheets were available for each SIG.

Gordon reminded the club that next month's meeting will be our annual Anniversary celebration, and will include a panel discussion, refreshments, and door prizes. This party to be held at K.A. Porter School.

NEW BUSINESS:

Gordon introduced our speaker, Mike Bolles, who has been teaching computer classes for the Canyon Lake computer club for about a year. He presented a program entitled: "How to Clean Up Your Computer to the Point of Having It Almost Like It Came Out of the Box".

The door prize was won by Nancy Maywald.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
