The meeting was called to order by Al Sternthal at 7:00 PM at the Community Center, Wimberley, Texas. Also attending were Curt Busk, Mary Nall, Cal Neill, Moselle Walker and Rod Rose.
OLD BUSINESS:
Curt Busk reported that the Sig classes are running along fine with 5 to 10 attending.
TREASURER'S REPORT:
Mary Nall reported a bank balance of $629.35. Two new paid members are: Mary Ann Graves and Deanna R. Crow.
NEW BUSINESS:
Change of meeting place: Members agreed on a time and place when meetings could be held during the day rather than evenings. Future meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the library.
Al Sternthal reported that Carolyn Swartz accepted the position as Historian. Since she is unable to attend meetings she requested that a copy of the minutes be sent to her.
A letter from the Internal Revenue Service dated April 11, 2003 presented by Curt Busk stated that the 501C3 code is still in effect. The letter is in the file.
Curt Busk gave an update on the city's Civic Center stage of development. He has made requests for 17 computers - also security systems and is seeking significent contributions and possible grants.
Rod Rose will accept responsibility for publicity regarding Sig and Grab Bag classes.
Cal Neill lead a discussion of topics for the regular Computer club meeting on June 19th. The program selected will be announced at the general meeting this month.
To be introduced at the regular WCC meeting Tuesday, May 27th by Al Sternthal. The feasibility of closing all computer meetings during the months of July and August.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
