The meeting was called to order by Al Sternthal at 10:02 AM at the Wimberley Village Library, Wimberley, Texas. Also attending were Curt Busk, Rod Rose, Cal Neill, Mary Nall and Moselle Walker.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted except the correction that Rod Rose's responsibility is for newspaper publicity.
Treasurer's Report: Mary nall reported that the bank balance is $659.36. Money Market balance of $2,500.86. A check for $15.00 from Pat Tingle for renewal membership was given to the treasurer.
Mary Nall reported that we now have 72 members. Al Sternthal will contact Susan Springer to request that an updated members list is published on the WCC e-mail page by September.
From the President, Al Sternthal:
1) Suggestions that more efforts from the board should be made through newspaper publicity to increase membership.
2) On the agenda fro the next meeting. Select a nomination committee for next year.
3) Party for board members. Satisfactory date could not be set at this meeting.
ANNUAL PARTY
A tenative date of October 28th at Katherine Ann Porter School. Curt Busk will make arrangement and scheduling with the school.
Curt also reported that we need 20 prizes for this event.
There will be no meetings in July and August. The next board meeting will be September 17th, at the library 10:00 AM.
The next WCC regular meeting scheduled for June 24th will feature a program on scanners by Curt Busk and Rod Rose. Cal Neill announced that he will get a speaker for the September 23rd meeting.
