WIMBERLEY COMPUTER CLUB BOARD MEETING OF APRIL 21, 2004
The meeting was called to order by President Al Sternthal at 6:15. Members present were Mary Nall, Kurt Busk, Rod Rose and Moselle Walker.
Treasurers report given by Mary Nall.
Rod Rose announced his resignation. He will be moving to Pearland, Texas. The vacancy in the Sig department will need to be filled as well as position on the board. Curt stated that a couple of members are being considered and will be announced at a later date.
Al Sternthal announced that our last board meeting until September will be May 19th and the last general meeting is May 25th. In September the date for Board meeting is the 22nd, and the General Meeting, 28th. Susan Springer will need to have an updated list of members to get the notices out.
Al Sternthal introduced the possibility of joining forces with another club – namely Canyon Lake – alternating meeting places. Discussion followed – the board did not accept the idea.
Rod Rose announced that the Digital Beginners class would meet April 28th at 6:00 PM and continue the evening classes on a regular basis.
The presenter for next general meeting will be Rolland Krueger on subject of what to look for in a digital camera.
