WIMBERLEY COMPUTER CLUB BOARD MEETING OF MAY 19, 2004
The meeting was called to order at 6:15 PM by President Al Sternthal. Members present were Curt Busk, Rod Rose, Mary Nall and Moselle Walker.
Mary Nall, Treasurer reported that the bank balance is approximately $800.00.
Correction*:
On the agenda: Appointment of Instructor in Digital Photography to fill vacancy after resignation of Rod Rose. Curt Busk stated that he has talked with Jane Moss and Monica Rasco for consideration.* Jane Moss accepted the position. Al Sternthal introduced the idea of sending the instructor to a Photographer School. After discussion, the consensus of the board was that it is not necessary and it is too expensive.
Al Sternthal suggested, and Members agreed, that recognition to Rod Rose as a devoted member and officer, since the beginning of the Computer Club, must be held next month (June). A discussion followed and ideas introduced. A going away party of some kind to be held; however no final decision was reached except that the location will be at Mary Nall’s house – a date to be set at a later date.
Al Sternthal stated that the agenda for the general meeting will include the very important need to select a nominating committee chair. A complete slate of officers is needed for the year of 2005.
Curt Busk registered 4 new members for the Computer Club – not yet paid. The applications were not submitted at the meeting; however the names and addresses are as follows:
