WIMBERLEY COMPUTER CLUB MEETING OF MAY 24, 2004
President, Al Sternthal opened the meeting at 7:00 PM. Also attending: Curt Busk, Moselle Walker, Susan Springer and Rod Rose.
NEW BUSINESS:
Al Sternthal announced that this is the last meeting until September. The importance of getting a slate of officers for next year is of utmost importance. Al ask for nominations from the floor to members in attendance. He also suggested some minor changes in titles to consider.
Curt Busk announced that the Beginners Photography class will meet the 26th and on other time to be arrange. Grab Bag for June will be “how to create files and put in folders”.
PROGRAM:
Curt Busk conducted a very interesting program with a Laptop XP demonstration covering information on how and when to do backup, the importance of firewall and anti virus. A very interesting and helpful question and answer session followed.
