WIMBERLEY COMPUTER CLUB BOARD MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 16, 2004
The WCC Board of Directors held their meeting on September 16, 2004, at the home of Curt Busk.
Members present: Curt, May Nall, Al Sternthal, Susan Springer, and Rhondda Cotton.
Member absent: Moselle Walker.
Al opened the meeting by suggesting we do away with some of the officers and combine jobs. Curt and Mary disagreed because it puts too much work on one person.
Curt has agreed to be the president next year if Rhondda will take a broader role and learn the ropes so she can become president in 2006.
Mary will be treasurer again.
Susan will continue to do the web site, if we will send her the info.
We will need to find a secretary.
Susan says she needs emails from us of minutes from both meetings and the complete membership list with addresses and emails, and telephone numbers.
The speaker for September will give tips, tricks and secrets of Word and Excel.
Jane Moss and Curt are teaching Intermediate Camera on the second Monday of each month at 1 PM at the Library.
The annual party will be Tuesday, October 26, at the library. The format will be the same as usual. The panel will be Rhondda, Ken Roberts and a third person that Rhondda will get.
We need to see if there is still a need for Beginning Digital Camera and Grab Bag. Also, we need to find out if there are any other SIGs or classes that the group is interested in.
The meeting was adjourned about 11 AM.
Sometime later Al called Mary to have her ad information to these minutes. He had been to the library and talked to Suzanne. This year we will have to have the board meetings on Wednesday morning at 10AM. The October board meeting will be on the 20th and the November one on the 17th. The general meetings will be October 26th and November 23rd.
