Minutes of the Wimberley Computer Club
November 22, 2005
The meeting of the Wimberley Computer Club took place on November 22, 2005 in the Wimberley Village Library.
Curt Busk called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.
The election of officers was postponed until January of 2006.
Treasurer’s report was given by Mary Nall. The balance is $781.03.
SIG report was given by Curt Busk. The Intermediate Digital Photo SIG meets on the second Monday at 1:00 PM, the Beginning Digital Photo SIG meets on the 3rd Thursday at 10:30 AM and the Grab Bag SIG meets the 1st Thursday at 1:00 PM. All SIGs meet in the Library.
Curt Busk gave an update of the work being done on the Community Center. Wiring will be complete once additional wire is purchased. The money donated by the club will have been spent but there will not be enough to purchase any computers.
Ed Wood, the speaker for the evening was introduced. Ed Wood spoke about the wireless connection that Media Cottage offers to the residents of Wimberley.
The door prize was won by Liz Maness.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM.
