Wimberley Computer Club Minutes
General Meeting 4-25-2006
The meeting was convened at 7:02 with 15 members present.
Treasurers Report: Steve gave the treasures report and passed out membership card to new members.
SIG Report: Curt reported that the Beginning Photo SIG is happening. The Intermediate Photo and Grab Bag SIGs are continuing on the third Monday and first Thursday respectively.
Announcements: Curt described what is happening at the Community Center. Ed Wood of VOW has committed to donate internet service and a wireless hook up but not the equipment in the Center. Curt has a list of the required equipment which will cost about $450. After a lively discussion the Club voted to donate the money needed to finish the Center setup if we receive a letter from the Director of the Center outlining the Clubs’ ability to use the facility for our meetings without cost for a specific time.
Program: Curt announced the evening speakers…Curt and Rhondda. An open question and answer session followed which was finally cut off at 8:45. Everyone learned lots!!
